BLOG UPDATE: Tax Breaks Every Homeowner Should Know

Dulles Toll Road Rates Increase

Tolls on the Dulles Toll Road in Virginia have increased on New Year's Day. The new rates for cars will be $1.50 at the main toll plaza.  That's up 25 cents.  Car drivers will continue to pay 75 cents at the on/off ramps. Larger vehicles will also pay more.

The new toll rates were approved in 2009.  The tolls will help pay for construction of the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project and improvements to the Dulles Toll Road.

Phase I of the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project will bring a new Metrorail line from the East Falls Church station on the Orange Line, through Tysons Corner and on to Wiehle Avenue in Reston.  Later, Phase II will be built by the Airports Authority, continuing the line to Dulles International Airport and into Loudoun County
